The problem
Unity VFD needed more than a brochure. A volunteer department depends on recruitment and donations, and both are asks that a static page makes badly. They also do real community work, from fire-safety education to public events, and none of it had anywhere to live online.
What we did
We built out the sections that actually do the asking: donations, membership with its own interest form, run statistics that demonstrate the department's workload, and a community section covering fire-safety education. A video hero of the station itself opens the site, and the apparatus gallery gives the department somewhere to put the photography they already had. The roster is API-backed, like Monroeville's.
Where it stands
A site that recruits and fundraises not just informing. Live at unityvfd233.org and maintained by the us and the department.
